  • 1.0 I am just starting to play tennis.
  • 1.5 I am still working primarily on getting the ball over the net.
  • 2.0 I need on-court experience.
  • 2.5 I have more dependable strokes.
  • 3.0 I can place shots with moderate success.
  • 3.5 I have achieved stroke dependability, still working on consistency.
  • 4.0 I have dependable strokes on both forehand and backhand sides.
  • 4.5 I mastered all strokes and use of power and spins on shots.
  • 5.0 I have an outstanding shot or exceptional consistency.
